COVID-19 UPDATES

The new guidance from our Governor and our desire to continually improve our guest experience has enabled us to change some of the ways we operate from this point forward. Here are some key changes we would like our guests to understand.

BEGINNING IMMEDIATELY:

Pre-Booking Highly Recommended: 

• All day tickets (skiing, snowboarding and tubing) should be booked prior to arrival. 
• Guests will be able to reserve lesson times by calling the Mount Kato learning center at 507-514-6311.

• Walk-up ticket sales will be limited; to guarantee your lift ticket please book them online.

• Season pass holders will not be required to make reservations. 

• 4th Grade Passports and Industry Passes can also be redeemed at the window without a reservation.  

• Reduced Ticket Limits for both the slopes and tubing make pre-booking tickets even more important.  

Lift Bar & Grill:

• The Lift bar will be limited to 50% capacity with a limit of four people per table.

• Reasonable time limits will be enforced to facilitate maximized use of our limited indoor capacity.

• Tables may not be moved or grouped.

• No Kids will be allowed in the bar at all until further notice.

• No Personal belongings or bags are allowed in the bar as well as no gearing up and getting ready in the bar at this time.

Chalet General Seating:

• General Seating will be limited
• Tables will be assigned for those purchasing food in the cafeteria.
• Reasonable time limits will be enforced to facilitate maximized use of our limited indoor capacity.
• The table capacities are four for the smaller tables and six for the larger tables.
• All general seating will be on the second level at this time.
• No Personal belongings or bags are allowed in the warming area as well as no gearing up and getting ready in the chalet at this time.

Chalet Main Floor Seating:

• Currently there is no general seating on the main floor of the chalet.
• The area adjacent to the Food Court is reserved for special use and not open to the general public at this time.

Tech Shop / Learning Center

• Our Tech Shop is open for retail and tech services only.
• Tech Shop seating is for Learning Center activities only.

ON-GOING:

• Masks must be worn indoors and outdoors where physical distancing service will be refused to those not wearing them.

Chalet Access: 

• The base lodge will remain open for take-out food, restrooms, locker access, retail, tickets, season passes and rentals. Guests using indoor services should remain socially distanced from others and avoid congregating.
• Guests should move outside when not using these services.

Dressing: 

• Guests should continue to dress in their vehicles.

Lessons: 

Group lessons are available with a 48-hour advanced notice. No more than 3 households will be placed in each group lesson. Private and semi-private lessons are available with a 48-hour advanced notice. Children under 7 must be accompanied by an adult from the same household during the lesson. Guests and instructor are required to wear masks during the lesson.
