COVID-19 Training

Mount Kato COVID-19 Training

As a member of the National Ski Area Association Mount Kato has adopted these strategies and procedures to ensure we have a safe and fun season. All the ski areas in the United States have adapted specific guidelines and procedures so that the skiing public has the same safe and enjoyable experience no matter which areas they visit.

As part of Mount Kato's COVID-19 Preparedness Plan all employees are required to complete training related to how COVID-19 affects day to day operations here at Mount Kato this season.

Our workers are our most important assets. Mount Kato is serious about safety and health and protecting its workers. Worker involvement is essential in developing and implementing a successful COVID-19 Preparedness Plan. We have involved our workers in this process by: encouraging all Mount Kato employees to submit suggestions and offer feedback so we can constantly develop and refine Mount Kato’s Covid-19 Preparedness Plan to reflect our desire to implement the most up to date guidelines and best practices as they evolve throughout the lifetime of the Covid-19 crisis.

If you have feedback and suggestions please email them to mail@mountkato.com with the Subject line: "COVID-19 Employee Feedback" any feedback will be reviewed by upper management and integrated into the plan if deemed to be a valuable addition and improvement to the developing plan.
